Ross doesn't mention if he presently has pain or soreness. If he does, he should only do icing and light exercises - no stretching until painfactor is almost at zero. Then he can pass to your "phase two".

Suffice to say that you will need to call on on the patience you can muster and keep doing the holistic remedies you are doing. Ice and stretch religiously, wear your orthotics, tape, swim instead of walking and keep reading all you can. I found a…

How Long Will This Go On?

I've had plantar fasciitis now for about 3 months. I've been iceing regularly, sleeping with an orthotic for stretching, wearing heal cups in my shoes, and using a rolling pin before iceing to stretch my fasciitis. Also been taping my foot when I need to walk to any extent to take the load of my fascia. Started doing some of the stretches and strengthing exercises also. I have pretty much totally reduced the amount of time I spend walking/hiking but I'm not seeing great improvement. Can anyone…See More

Hi Ross.If you have pain still, perhaps you've gone too quickly.It's best that the soreness dissipates almost completely before starting "phase 2" - the light exercises.Grain of salt I'm new to this.
