I posted a question regarding a new procedure that my podiatrist is doing but haven't had any responses. I'm still wondering if anyone has heard of a "sinus tarsi implant"? It's a procedure to…Continue

Hyperpronation

I'm a longtime PF sufferer. I had surgery three years ago which helped for a short time. I've tried various orthodics including those from a podiatrist. Nothing seems to work. I have been seeing a…Continue

Yes, you can get the guide from my site. From what you're saying, I would try prolotherapy first. Google "prolotherapy" and your state, and ses if there's a doc anywhere near you, and get their opinion. There aren't a lot of…

Kay, Thanks for the reply. I think you can tell by my discussion that I'm getting desperate. The pain is constant and the only relief is to stay off my feet...period. To answer your questions, I have two children, 40 and 38. No bunions and no…

I'm still wondering about a specific surgery....

I posted a question regarding a new procedure that my podiatrist is doing but haven't had any responses. I'm still wondering if anyone has heard of a "sinus tarsi implant"? It's a procedure to correct hyperpronation or excessive motion of the ankle bone. My Podiatrist does this procedure and is recommending it for PF. I'm extremely flat footed and I'm thinking that the excessive motion of the foot has caused the PF to become inflamed. I've had it for years now and have actually had one surgery,…See More

Joseph, I would suggest to you that orthotics do help, but I'd also suggest going to a professional to have orthotics cast to fit YOUR feet. I fell for the much advertised business that sold arch supports ($800+) and I think I could have spent…

I would just about do anything to rid myself of this pain, but I had this treatment several years ago and it is absolutely the most painful procedure I ever had. The specialist that came out of Denver to do it failed to deaden my foot sufficently…

Hyperpronation

I'm a longtime PF sufferer. I had surgery three years ago which helped for a short time. I've tried various orthodics including those from a podiatrist. Nothing seems to work. I have been seeing a Podiatrist in Cheyenne who has diagnosed hyperpronation "a structural deformity of excessive motion of the ankle boone on the heel bone. This motion is responsible for the excessive motion to the bones and the soft tissues of the foot"..in other words, flat feet. He is doing a surgery called Subtalar…See More
