Plantar Fasciitis

Support Group & Health Community

Three weeks ago I began to jog outdoors (Miami Beach) and ran 1 extra mile thus causing Planters Fasciitis for the very 1st time. I tried all the exercise available on different sites for remedies and nothing seemed to be effective. Only last week did I start feeling big relief so I jumped right away on the treadmill and the pain started 15 min into the run. It stayed with me until this morning that I friend recommended EPSOM SALT BATHS in HOT  water to soak my foot for 1 hr 3 x p/day. Guess what???????????????? The pain tonight is almost disappeared. EPSOM SALT AND HOT WATER, arch your foot while its in the water and massage the back of your heel several times during the hour remedy.  THAT'S THE CURE......

Thats a useful tip thanks for sharing :)

I'm a big fan of Epsom salt and truly believe in its healing qualities. So glad you found something that worked for you :)

I am going to try that!!!! I have had Planters Fasciitis for the first time since May.  It is the worse pain I have ever had.  Nothing seems to help me.

My VA doctor DX'ed  my PF as Charcot's Foot.   I don't have Charcot's foot because I do not have the really abnormally high arch associated with Charcot's Foot.  I was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam many years ago and it does cause neuropathy.   The USA sprayed that stuff on about 5 million people and only take responsibility for a few vets who can prove in-country exposure.   Your government at work like at Ft. Bragg with poisoned water.   What I have found is that the VA supposed experts know nothing more than corner Pod. about AO exposure.  Not many of us left and AO is killing us all.   This does not address my foot pain but nothing seems to help not Neurontin or even morphine.  I really need help with this pain.  I don't know what to do.
