Permalink Reply by emily waters on December 30, 2009 at 6:59pm Thanks, I feel better about the New Balance shoes. You are the 3rd person to mention them. I'm tired of spending money on things that don't work. Hopefully, they aren't too expensive. Good luck to you!

Permalink Reply by Jennifer Spears on January 1, 2010 at 9:53am Well, I'm glad I went for a different shoe! I ended up getting the Nike DMX. It has great cushioning, and my heel does not hurt much at all. I think this will make a huge difference, since I'm on my feet all day. I still feel some discomfort in the arch area, and along the outside edge, but I'm hoping that will fade in time. I've had pain for almost a year, special night socks, therapy of all kinds, pain/inflammation reducers and exercise for 5 months. The best relief is rest, the right shoe and the stretching. Going barefoot is the worst. That's hard for me, but I make myself put shoes on first thing. Thanks for replying Emily.
